I've been out of the loop for a while but occasionally we meet new and old friends who are in the lifestyle and we try catch up on what is going on out there.
How about some info here for those of us in the same boat.....not in the scene at the moment but not totally out of it?
It's hard to keep up with which lifestyle clubs are still open, which are closed and which are new or about to open.
Just how many lifestyle clubs are there left in the GTA?
Which clubs have closed in the last year or so? Which have changed something or improved (like HH and their new velvet rope policy).
Which have opened? Which ones are struggling?
Share your first hand knowledge here. |

Hi Sandra,
We too have felt so out of the loop as some of you may have read we recently moved up north and the opprotunity to spend time with other lifestlyers had been very limited. I recently noticed a link on the HH home page for swing clubs in the Barrie and Orillia area. I was brought to the Club Vibes webpage. We made the trek to Barrie and attended this weekend. Here is my review
The Good - The venue Memories Bar and Grill whose name is almost as fitting as Sweet Cheeks, is comfortable and cosy with almost the exact same lay out as SC with a central dance floor, lots of room and several tables and chairs surrounding it. Also a pool table that however isnt converted to a play zone but a Buffet table come midnight. Its location has 3 hotels with good rates within walking distance even in a dress in the bitter cold. The music, they played a great mix of old and new some sexy slow songs and some great get up and groove tunes.
The Bad - You do have to climb 24 stairs to get into the venue, (it is befitting that you must conquer twice as many to get to the booze as to get away from it- hehe) But once you arrive you will only have to decend them once when leaving-even as a smoker as there is a licensed rooftop patio that will make a great play area in the summer. The attendance, it certainly wasnt packed but this time of year as well as the nasty storm the day before a mere 50 kms from Barrie may have made travel a little more difficult. As well as the three or more couples that sat tentivly for an hour hesitant to come in (yes we saw you next time I will drag you from your cars) Maybe a sign on the back door 'Club Vibes' during events might make people a little more sure and not as afraid to broach the door in fear of showing up at the wrong place.
THE AMAZING- The host couple, super friendly, classy and fun that have no illusions as to making a mil they just wanted and needed as badly as others to have a place to party that doesnt require hotel rooms and serious planning. The Bar owners, a couple that is commited to giving this place a fair shot, with no expectations they are very warm and have also attened SC as well as other clubs and hope to have the same vibe as Sweet Cheeks with a gaurenteed good time no matter when you go. All of us agreed that SC is by far the wildest and most fun of all the clubs in the GTA and with events only running once a month we will still make that journey down to dixie. The Buffet omg fresh buns, meats, veggies and cheese, pasta salads as well as my fave a huge array of sweets and not those shitty store bought items were talking, gooey brownies and tarts etc. The owner even packed up some to go snacks for a post sex nibble.
We will defintly go again, I am sure I have missed some things in this review and if they come to me I will post again. |

Well ones that I know off
SC , m4 , ozone , 2250 , wicked , clubx , not sure if norma jeans has anything happening still.
2250 never been , nor wicked , But rest are all good clubs , depending what one is looking for .
I do think ozone will give the other clubs run for their money soon , if they play it right , as it is easy to get to , well layed out , cpl pool table ( for playing pool ) , comfortable sitting , cool back room rooms ,trully friendly owners and staff , good prices and most important girls loved it . And to me that is important . That women I take out feel comfortable .
There is also cpl decent sites out there now days to give people more options for interaction . Short of questionable house parties , think lifestyle is progresing in positive way and lot more options out there for people .
Hope other add to list cause am sure missed plenty of venues . |

Thats a very good question.....Havent heard much in ages and looks like their website is down.Can ayone out there shed some light on their status ??
Agree with Ozone....Went recently and liked every aspect of the club,hosts,prices,location and on premise area.
Excellent club option that we truly wish nothing but success for.
More options are always a good thing !! |

One of the partners is now gone. The partners that left are Shawn and Wendy. They are known as SexyBoots on Cafe Desire.

Dirty, there were about 15 to 20 couples throughout the night from the ages of late fifties to early twenties some experienced and some brand new. Lots of fun! |

I've been to a few of the other clubs, and while the venues seem comfortable....the one thing I notice lacking at each one is the exciting sexual energy that you always find at Sweet Cheeks. I don't know why this is, but whenever I walk into Sweet Cheeks after having visited another club the same evening, this is the element that is missing at other clubs but always present at HH events from the minute you walk in the door. |

Thats the exact thing we were talking about at Club Vibes on Saturday night, At HH everyone acts without their filters, its almost indescribable the atmosphere at sweet cheeks that allows people to be themselves and have fun. It seems as if there are no judgements and therefore no reservations, That is why you will never have a bad time at Sweet Cheeks and thats why I felt compelled to write about Club Vibe/Memories because outside of Sweet Cheeks I have never felt so welcomed and comfortable at a 'swinger' club or event.
I thank god that Sweet Cheeks was the first club we attended, if our decision about the lifestyle for us, was based on some of our firsts at the other clubs we may have never made it past our first event. |

We can likely ignore the posts by horny77 and HelenofTroy because my money says they are both Ruthy. Been here long enough to know whenever any other club is mentioned on the board, the boss has to chime in (even though nothing bad was being said about HH.....in fact it was getting pats on the back along the way).

So your new to the lifestyle and you travelled nearly 3 hours to attended the first night at a new club passing 4 or so others 1 hour closer on the way? Hmmm...
Well I didnt think there was a care team just the hosts and the owners. however your right, I did a mental count to be almost precise there were 11 maybe 12..(throughout the night as I stated before)...but this is the net I have a right to embellish.
You should understand, who doesnt lie about a thing or two eh? horny77? from hamilton, just joined HH today? |

I tell myself the same thing. My first lifestyle event was at Sweet Cheeks, which pretty much set the tone of what I expect of most lifestyle clubs. Had I attended another club as my first lifestyle experience, I don’t know if I’d ever return either.
You touched on this in your review about Club Vibes…..I also think that another thing that makes one club stand out above the rest are the awesome hosts who greet you. On my first visit to Sweet Cheeks, I will never forget how comfortable the host couple made me feel as they made it a point of periodically asking me how I was doing throughout the evening. That really left quite an impression on me. |

So back to the question at hand. What's still out there...no longer out there.....about to be out there?
Is Abs still operating? X-tabi? From the looks of things neither has a website any more so assume they are toast. Close Encounters no longer exists. Club Feel Good died more than a year ago or better. Another club opened in the east but it only operated once a month. Is it still around?
We can pretty much be sure HH will be around as long as D&R chose to run it. How interesting that the lifestyle world has swirled around them like paper in a tornado and they are untouched. Even that original stalwart of the lifestyle, Club Eros, is no more. |

True enough, SC is solid those that go there probably always will, I think G-man listed them all, maybe abs, ozone, m4, x and wicked plus 2250 for the gta then d&d in the east and the suite in the west |

2250 is in Burlington. Never been there but it appears to be the only club serving west of Mississauga. I am surprised that Hamilton or Niagara area don't have a club. |

Hi Everyone...If you have followed the link to look at our site. Thank you. I just wanted to post a thought or two...after reading this thread...(I naturally)....had to say something...D & R...are smart enough to know that we are not attempting to compete with HH or anyone else...I am sure if D & R thought that, they would not allow us to continue to have our link on their site at all...There are many things we admire about HH, D & R and the people that attend HH....the obvious loyalty that shines on this message board is one of those things.
Club Vibes may be gone in 2, 4, 6 months...or we might last 5 years and then disappear...Who knows...maybe we will be around 15 years from now...it really doesn't matter....we are just offering people something that they haven't had since the "Sensations" days....a place to go, to dance, meet other adults (with or without sex in mind..)...We have no big, fancy venue. We have no body painters or ponies or tricks up our sleeves.
It's about having fun, not taking things too seriously and just unwinding...Like D & R.. We have no expectations from our guests, perfection does not exist nor do we look for it...of course we would like to see people come out to our dances...it's why we put them on.
I saw the review from Prettyplease...and I thank you (constructive critisism is as good as kudos)....as for the response from "horny77"...that is almost an inside joke, now isn't it....K??...lol...I know it was NOT David OR Ruthy...they have no reason to post anything about us or what we are doing...We haven't done anything wrong.
Anyway, with all that I have said...I hope that we will be around for a while..Hubby and I are having a good time...We like to make people happy and to show people a good time...Thanks for reading this...Sincerely, Partypants |

I thought that got answered and why is that so important? I can recall a few years back, when HH used to have something called Sunday Tea Dances I went to one where there were probably about 30 people showed up. We had a blast. It was almost better than a packed house because we got to talk to everyone. |

No partypants it is not me who posted this I don't use alternate profiles to post on HH. If I got something to say I use my own handle, I don't need to hide behind alternate profiles.
But now that you mention "the inside joke" maybe we should let everyone in on it.
Back about 9 months or so ago when partypants (missy885) was coming on a regular basis to Kimmies Mansion Parties she posted using an alternate profile stating that "Kimmies was the best place for your money"
I am sure g69er you recall this post and at that time I was very offended & you even started a new posting right around that time labeled "blatant promoter" ...well to make a long story short the post was deleted and so was the "kimmies party" link off the front section of HH.
So it is really very comical that now partypants who caused me to loose my link on the front page by her "promoting" of my venue without my knowledge now has her link right up there on the front page.

I recall it yes , and still stand buy it . Nothing personal towards you as latley there has been other promotional stuff on here that I personaly find anoying . There is promoting event /buisness then there is something called overdoing it and taking advantage of HH site that everyone loves to shit on , yet lot use to "promote" their wares . Go figure .
Its obvious when someone starts a new venue , or "buisnesss model " some sort of promotion is nececcery .
Flooding ms boards with it ,is part that annoys and is well " rude" .. but then again thats just my opinion .
Even tho I still consider SC home ,I am not one to do half a page review of other clubs as I do relize that everyone taste buds are different but in another thread all I mentioned was that one of the clubs was nice place and was accused of being their promoter so guess everyones idea of "blatant promotion " is different .
PartyPants good for you guys and good luck with the venture .
On a side note from a observer on sidelines , someone mentioned about in fighting in the ozone .. and it looks like there is whole lot of infighting going on in lot of different venues that is spilling out on msg board lol . It makes you guys look like children not someone with right "buisness model " . i see that , and i wouldnt take my better half or anyone to any of your places .
Lot of people love to dump on SC/HH but you guys got this place beat hands down with BS in just cpl threads . |

A number of people have tried in the past to run a swingers club in the Niagara area. And I remember one club starting in Hamilton in the last 10 years. Located in a mansion it was to have been managed by Susan of the "Susan & Harry couple who once upon a time operated "Society Couples" out of the Heritage Inn.
