Toronto Swingers Club – FAQ

Toronto Swingers Club – F.A.Q

We are a Toronto Swingers Club and the longest running Swingers Club in the greater Toronto area.   Our Swinger Website offers a full online community for members to exchange their views and perhaps learn a little more about the lifestyle.  We have provided some quick reference answers to questions you may have about Swinging and the possible expectations in the lifestyle.

How do I get the most out of Happy Hedonist?
If you are looking to reach out and make new friends who want to put a little eroticism in their lives, then Happy Hedonist is right for you. Try to be realistic in your expectations by being friendly and open to meeting lots of couples, & by doing so you will get a lot of mileage.

Can we visit the club as nonmembers?
Yes you can. And as often as you like. So, whether you’re a member couple or not, you’ll always be welcomed to our weekly dances.

Do we have to be a married couple to join Happy Hedonist?
You’ll be welcomed whether you’re married, dating, living with your significant other, or going steady. Today’s world has changed dramatically from just a few years ago. Marriage is not a condition of belonging. The club is for male/female couples only. You must be of legal age and both of you need to know what the club is all about.

Do we have to be active in the Lifestyle to attend events?
Many couples who have joined are just looking for a little extra excitement to spice up their own relationship. Some of our members are active in the life-style. Some couples are exhibitionists, others are voyeurs, some are into fetish wear. Yet, they all share one thing in common, they are all open minded and tolerant of everyone.

We’re curious, but want to just see what the club is all about, can we do that?
Certainly, you can. In fact most couples come out once as guests and go on to become members. Remember we do not believe in pressure and work hard to provide you with a no pressure atmosphere.

Who belongs to Happy Hedonist?
Lots of fun loving couples-voyeurs, exhibitionists & swingers. They all share one thing in common, they are looking to meet & make new friends

How many people attend each Happy Hedonist event?
Our weekend events draw from 40 up to 100 or more couples. Our Private Swingers party’s draw about 10-20 couples. We have found that some people prefer smaller, more intimate functions like our Private Swingers Party’s, while others prefer larger events where they get to meet lots of people. No matter which you prefer, you’ll meet other people like yourself at our events.

What is the age range of your members?
Though Club Prive is open to everybody and we do have members from their early 20′s through to their 60′s. And, the bulk of our members are young minded men & women, full of energy.

How long do the events last?
Week-end events and special theme parties can go to two or three in the morning or later. You can come & go as your schedule demands and you’ll find some people engrossed in great conversation till the late hours.

I am single, that is unattached. Can I attend the club?
Yes you can. Our Friday night swingers events allow single males and females to attend, and Saturday night swingers events are geared towards couples and single females. In this life-style most couples are receptive to meeting new people. As the old adage goes: “Variety is the spice of life.”

Can a woman ask another man or woman to dance?
We recognize everyone as sexually equal. That means that women should & do feel comfortable “making the first move.”

Can we be up front about our sexual desires?
Yes by all means . It is essential that everyone know what they are getting into ahead of time. You could save everyone from a potentially embarrassing situation later on. Also find out about everyone’s limits.

What happens If a couple comes onto us and we’re not comfortable with them?
Just say “NO, Thank You”. Respect another couple’s right a to selectivity. We are all great people, but for one reason or another we may not appeal to another couple. A “NO” today may not mean a ” NO ” tomorrow. But don’t be pushy about it. Don’t allow yourself to be coerced into a situation in which you’re not comfortable! If a couple or a situation make you feel ill-at-ease, perhaps it’s time to invoke the rule of “NO Thank You” You should never feel pressured into doing anything you are not comfortable doing. You’re here to have fun. Being coerced is NO FUN. So if anyone persists, talk to the host couple.

What happens if someone does not take “NO” for an answer.
If a couple or a person can’t take “no” for an answer, you should immediately tell the host or hostess in charge about this. They’re trained to deal with this in a friendly unobtrusive manner without causing you or the person bothering you any embarrassment.

We want to meet other couples, but we’re very shy?
As a group, couples are friendly outgoing people. But it is a two-way street. You should introduce yourself to the others there. If you’re unusually shy, or if the group appears cliquish, ask your host, at the early part of the night, to make some introductions for you. That’s why we’re here. And, remember most couples have come to meet other new couples. Always feel free to ask your host any questions you may have about sexual subject. Even if it seems a minor point, you won’t know until you ask. Your club hosts are used to fielding questions on sex-related subjects, from the traumatic to the trivial.

How much do dances cost?
A singles females pays the least and a single male the most. The club is designed for couples so all admissions favor couples.
